Ford designed and released these popular mid-size 4×4 vehicles using their twin I-beam front suspension – of twin traction beam (TTB) as Ford likes to call it. The difficulty with this design is that you raise the front of the vehicle the tops of the front tires lean outward creating positive camber angle. Due to the inconsistent factory height on these vehicles and very sensitive alignment tolerances, it is nearly impossible to properly align these twin i-beam vehicles once the have been lifted. Of course we have overcome this problem by including adjustable cam bolts and brackets in our complete packages.
